- Feed berries to friendly Pokémon. Feeding berries at gyms earns you Stardust, increases a Pokémon’s motivation, and get you Candy for that Pokémon.
- Catch pokémon of the same type to earn candy– Catching multiples of the same Pokémon gives you Candy, which is needed to power up and evolve that Pokémon.
- Transfer unneeded pokémon. Transferring extra Pokémon gives you Candy for that Pokémon. Only keep the strongest of each type.
